These Terms of Service govern your use of claylog (the Service). By signing in, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

claylog provides a personal shooting log that runs primarily on your device. Some features rely on third-party providers (for example, authentication and, in the future, payment processing). Use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping the credentials associated with your account secure. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep your contact email up to date.

Subscription

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. When a subscription product is offered, the pricing, billing cadence, and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you commit. A subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at the address below.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt other users, or use the Service to violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached.

Firearms, safety, and instruction

claylog is a scorekeeping and performance-analysis tool for shooting sports. It is not a safety device, a firearms-training program, or a substitute for qualified instruction. You are solely responsible for the safe and lawful handling of firearms and for compliance with all range rules and applicable laws. Any summaries, breakdowns, or AI-generated suggestions the Service provides are informational observations about your recorded scores only — they are not professional coaching, and none should be followed in any way that compromises safety. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from the handling of firearms or reliance on any information the Service provides.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an as-is basis. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability for any loss arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you have paid in the prior twelve months, if any.

Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email before they take effect.
